HC 1500 ETR Temperature Control
Attention All
Customers who have purchased a Clairion Heater Model HC 1500ETR in the
2003-2004 season.
It has come to our
attention that the thermostat control on this heater may cause some
inconvenience if
it is not set according to the following guidelines. A detailed explanation was not included in our owner's
manual, and we apologize for any inconvenience this miscommunication may
have caused.
Our heater has been
designed with a variation of 4 degrees Celsius between the 'room
temperature' setting and the 'off' setting. When the user turns on
the unit, the digital room temperature is displayed. The user must
then select the desired room temperature. If, for example, the user
selects 21 degrees Celsius, when the unit sensor has reached this
temperature it will automatically shut off and cool down 4 degrees (ie: 17
degrees Celsius) before it automatically restarts to your preset desired
room temperature.
In addition, it is
important to note that the room temperature displayed on the unit reflects
the temperature detected by the sensor at the bottom of the unit.
Consequently, this reading may be somewhat higher than the average
temperature of the entire room.
Therefore, Clairion
recommends that in order to maintain a room temperature between 21-22
degrees Celsius, the unit should be set at 25 degrees Celsius. |
